High School Youth Mentors
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate adult members of the congregation to serve as mentors in our Youth Ministry Mentorship Program. Mentors will be paired with high school students to provide guidance, support, and encouragement in their personal and spiritual growth.
Sunday School Teacher
We are looking for several teachers and substitute teachers. You can teach a class by yourself or share with another teacher. We also have high school students to help aid in the classrooms. Class size is around 10 with age groups ranging from 1st-5th grades.
We are also looking for someone to lead music for about 15 minutes each week and ready them to sing during service once a month.
Event Chaperone or Coordinator
The Event Chaperone is responsible for ensuring the safety, supervision, and well-being of the youth group members during church-organized events. This role involves providing guidance, support, and maintaining a positive environment that aligns with the values and mission of Shawano Zion Church.
The Event Coordinator is responsible for organizing an event for the youth of Zion. Events could include social outings, lock ins, dinners, service projects, or fundraisers.The role involves organizing event details, volunteers needed and providing a positive environment that aligns with the values and mission of Shawano Zion Church.
Tot/Parent Hour Host
Volunteers for "God’s Little Wonders: Faith and Fun Hour" play a vital role in creating a warm, engaging environment for toddlers and their parents. They assist with storytelling, help lead songs and activities, and provide hands-on support during craft and game time. By serving in this program, volunteers help plant seeds of faith in the hearts of young children while fostering a sense of community and belonging.
